Upper East Side Private Townhouse—Private

EverGreene was commissioned to paint these trompe l’oeil murals for a private residence in New York City. Though most of the mural was painted on canvas in EverGreene’s New York studio, the Mexican onyx featured on the columns was hand-painted on location to perfectly match the Mexican onyx of the stairway and floor. Additionally, the railing which appears in front of the mural is actually a trompe l’oeil element, convincingly painted on the flat canvas.
