Amy joined EverGreene in the Spring of 2021 as Business Development Executive focused on supporting the Mid-Atlantic & Southeast regions, based out of our metro DC office. She holds a passion for historic preservation, strong knowledge of the construction industry, and experience in estimating practices to assist the team in maintaining and increasing EverGreene’s customer base.
Amy started her career as an interior designer in globally recognized architectural offices in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco where her work centered on sustainability and building material research. This background informs her ability to envision the master plan, then focus on the details and efficiencies of its execution. Prior to EverGreene, Amy served as the CEO & Founder of Building Hugger, a Detroit-based construction company specializing in historic window restoration.
She holds a MS in Historic Preservation from Columbia University in addition to a BS in Interior Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. As a Professor of Practice and adjunct faculty member, she has taught history, design, and theory of architecture at Lawrence Technological University’s College of Architecture & Design and University of Detroit Mercy’s School of Architecture.
