Design Build Consulting

EverGreene has the unique ability to see projects through conceptualization to implementation through design build consulting. These are the steps we take to ensure the process is streamlined to stay on track with schedule and budget while achieving the highest quality outcome.

Investigation
For historic buildings that have undergone renovations or modernizations the starting point is conducting historic finishes investigations and surveys that will help you to understand the original color palette and ornament. Uncovering hidden colors and ornament often informs how the new design proceeds. Deliverables may include an illustrated report of the findings.

Conceptual Design
EverGreene is available to produce sketches and samples, provide estimates, and advise on design. Our New York studio can accommodate mural projects of any size and has the design capacity for complex architectural forms such as domes and other integrated architectural spaces. We have the unique ability to create 3D digital renderings in addition to traditional watercolor renderings. We are highly skilled at unusual art and architectural ornament and sculpture. Our strength is in comprehensive architectural ornament design and production with murals, painted decoration, and plaster ornaments.

Design Development
Our goal is to collaborate with each client to implement your vision and tell your story. Design development is about the details. Our Design Studio artists work by hand and a variety of CAD and 3D modeling programs. Our shop drawings, completed by an architectural designer with training in classical ornament, precisely detail ornament to be fabricated and installed.

Construction
Many projects involve work in our Brooklyn-based Design Studio as well as onsite in the field. We strive for efficiencies that allow us execute design elements – replicated ornament, murals, plaster – while concurrently working in the field. By reducing time on-site, scaffold rental time is limited which maximizes project budgets. In the studio, artists will fabricate stencils, plaster ornament, murals on canvas and other specialty finishes. In the field, an experienced foreman will lead a crew of skilled craftsmen to complete your project.
