Church of the Heavenly Rest - Narthex Ceiling Stars

The Church of the Heavenly Rest is an elegant, neo-gothic Episcopal Church located across from Central Park on New York’s Upper East Side.
EverGreene worked with Beyer Blinder Belle to introduce decorative art in the form of stars on the vaulted Guastavino tiles ceiling of the narthex.
Our Design Team created stencils in our Brooklyn studio. After cleaning the vaulted ceilings, our skilled craftspeople applied non-tarnishing metallic paint stenciled stars onsite. These stars represent members of the Church of the Heavenly Rest congregation who were lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.
