Lexus Intersect

New York, NY

As a new lifestyle hub, Intersect by Lexus merges innovative programming, culinary creativity and masterful design for an immersive cultural experience that spans across three floors.  The EverGreene team worked alongside Japanese interior designer Masamichi Katayama of Wonderwall and architects at Gensler to create a unique and playful expression of the Lexus brand on the Intersect through wall art.

The ultimate spatial design element can be found in the center of the space, leading guests up the stairway, standing 26 feet high and 13 feet wide, and featuring 39 individual car parts painted in a crisp white and delicately mounted onto 15 steel panels. EverGreene lead the careful installation of the pieces, providing white gloves service to handle and rig the artwork into proper placement.

We also had fun implementing the playful automotive accent wall, which is made up of 1,288 miniature collectible cars, all were attached by hand to three panels using 400 screws by EverGreene craftsmen. The process was completed several times in order to ensure perfection.

Intersect by Lexus sits in the heart of the Meatpacking district NYC, serving as the third iteration which opened in the Fall of 2018.  The two other Intersect by Lexus locations include Tokyo (2013) and Dubai (2015).
