Hosted by the New York Landmarks Conservancy (NYLC), the Lucy G. Moses Preservation Awards ceremony is an annual celebration of exceptional restoration and preservation projects in New York. EverGreene continually takes pride in preserving New York City’s landmarks and receiving recognition for our work along the way.
This year commemorates the 30th anniversary of the awards. EverGreene’s restoration of the Manhattan Surrogate’s Courthouse was honored with a Preservation Project Award. Our work at this courthouse encompassed recreating lunettes, replicating a historic metallic finish, restoring metal, and removing overpaint. We were also thrilled to see the New York State Appellate Courthouse receive recognition. EverGreene conserved multiple murals at this historic site in the early 2000s.
We are filled with gratitude for the work of the NYLC and the passion behind the craftsmen who care for these important historic sites that make our city so great. Congratulations to all of the winners!
