Jennifer is a nationally respected preservation professional with nearly two decades of experience helping owners, architects, and project teams navigate the complexities of historic preservation and rehabilitation. Her career bridges architectural conservation, preservation consulting, specialty contracting, and business leadership, giving her a rare ability to connect technical preservation challenges with practical project delivery.

Prior to joining EverGreene, Jennifer founded Schork Consulting, where she advised cultural institutions, architects, developers, and contractors on planning and project strategy for historic and existing buildings. She also served as a partner at a leading conservation consulting and specialty contracting firm, where she gained extensive experience in project execution, financial management, and organizational leadership.

Jennifer earned a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). She is a recognized leader in the field, having authored publications on conservation materials research and preservation methodology, and regularly lectures on technical topics in the industry.

She is a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC), Chair Emeritus of AIC’s Architectural Specialty Group, and an Association for Preservation Technology (APT) Recognized Professional—distinctions that reflect her longstanding commitment to enriching the preservation community.
