Kate Allen joined EverGreene in April 2025 as a Business Development Executive. She brings extensive experience in historic preservation and deep relationships across architecture, construction, and real estate development to our team.
Prior to joining EverGreene, Kate served as the President of Allen Architectural Metals, Inc., a nationally recognized architectural metal restoration firm. During her sixteen-year career at Allen, Kate directed historically significant restoration and redevelopment projects, including the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the Woolworth Building, Carnegie Hall, the U.S. Capitol Dome, Michigan Central Station, Cadillac Book Tower, and the Lincoln Memorial.
Kate is a frequent guest lecturer at various institutions around New York City, including the Pratt Institute of Technology, the New York City Landmarks Commission, and the Historic Districts Council. In 2024, she became an Adjunct Faculty Member for Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation, and Planning.
She also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of the American Institute for Conservation and is a Board member of APTI, serving as Co-Chair of the Development Committee. Kate holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
