Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament

Greensburg, PA

EverGreene was hired for the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral’s renewal. An historic cathedral that was renovated post- Vatican II, the  Blessed Sacrament’s bishop requested that EverGreene design architectural ornament that was more sympathetic to the historic architecture of the building.

The scope included new decorative painting on the ceiling, stenciling on the beams, plaster ornament, new cathedra, and alterations to existing liturgical elements such as the altar, and frames for the stations of the cross.

EverGreene worked with the bishop on schematic design and with the architect on design/ development, painted the new murals in our studio, fabricated the new plaster ornament in our plaster studio, and then installed all of the elements on site.
