Postal Square
Washington, DC
The monumental Post Office building was built in 1911 to frame the Capitol. It is a prominent example of adaptive reuse for multi-use tenants in its 1.2 million square feet of floor space.
The coffered ceiling was completely reconstructed to its original ornate detail. EverGreene managed the project and performed the decorative painting in the main atrium.
