BACKWalter Kesaris joined EverGreene as an Assistant Conservator in March 2019 and was promote to Conservator in 2023. He works closely with Senior Conservators and the conservation team in all aspects of historic conservation work, including research, condition assessments, conservation treatments, and materials testing and analysis. He also works overseeing the onsite operations and managing the daily needs of his projects.
Walter holds a BS in Architectural Studies from Philadelphia University and an MFA in Historic Preservation degree from Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD.)
While completing his graduate studies at SCAD, Walter worked as a preservationist at Ellsworth Design Build in Savannah, GA. Here he worked closely with carpenters and interior designers. The majority of his work included on-site documentation, condition assessments, applying tax credits, and coordinating with the Savannah’s historic review board.
Walter earned his AIC PA status in January of 2024. He joins a group of ten other EverGreene Professional Associates and two AIC Fellows on staff.
