200 East 79th Street Lobby
Completed in 2014, 200 East 79th Street draws inspiration from the architectural heritage of Manhattan’s Upper East Side, blending classical design traditions with contemporary luxury. To help realize the architect’s vision for the building’s elegant hotel-style lobby, EverGreene collaborated closely with the design team to create custom ornamental plaster elements that would feel integral to the space and complement its refined architectural character.
Drawing on our expertise in decorative arts and architectural fabrication, EverGreene designed, sculpted, molded, cast, and installed a sixteen-panel plaster bas-relief frieze that serves as a focal point within the lobby. Our artisans translated the architect’s concepts into richly detailed decorative elements, carefully balancing traditional craftsmanship with modern construction requirements. The completed installation enhances the lobby’s sense of sophistication and permanence, contributing to an immersive arrival experience that reflects the building’s timeless design aesthetic.
