The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame Mosaic
Fort Worth, TX
Our design team returned to Fort Worth in 2018 to work with the National Cowgirl Museum on the new design of a 12 by 75 foot mosaic that was going to decorate the entire rear wall of the museum, facing the Dickie Arena. The choice was made to use mosaic tesserae and create richly colored surfaces in the abstract shapes of an embossed saddle. Mock-ups and samples were made to fit the exact shape and dimensions of the wall. Once approved, the artwork was produced as a full mosaic.
We had previously designed and installed an exterior mural for the museum in 2002 in collaboration with artist Richard Haas and also designed and implemented the North Facade mosaic at the Dickies arena in 2019.
