Mount Baker Theatre
Bellingham, WA
The Mount Baker Theatre was designed by Architect R.C. Reamer in the classic style with an emphasis on Moorish-Spanish motifs and opened in 1929.
EverGreene was part of the restoration team at the Mount Baker Theatre for both Phase I, in the 1990s, and Phase II in the 2000s. We did the most extensive part of our work in phase one. In the auditorium, we restored the decorative painting on the walls and repaired the original plaster ceiling. Our team also restored the historic paint in the lobby. Our decorative painting work consisted of stenciling, glazing, and gilding. During Phase II, our team returned for touch-ups and cleaning maintenance.
