Notre Dame De La Salette Academy
Notre Dame de la Salette Boys Academy is a boarding school dedicated to the formation of holy men. The liturgy is a central aspect of life at La Salette Academy. Through a combination of ancient techniques and cutting edge technology, our Sacred Space Studio worked with the Society of Pope Pius X to design and implement an artistry program for the chapel that is fitting for the liturgy.
A mural of harts (deer) drinking the living waters of Christ, vines, patterning and a christogram adorns the sanctuary wall. The triumphal arch follows a complementary motif, interweaving intricate patterns and floral scroll motifs, scripture and a marian monogram. Ornament was painted and glazed and the lower walls were faux painted to resemble the sanctuary marble. The beautified chapel clearly communicates the centrality of the liturgy to life at Notre Dame de La Salette.
