Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Located within Bonnet Creek Resort adjacent to Walt Disney World, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando reflects the luxury standards and refined design associated with the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand.

EverGreene joined the project team during preconstruction planning and design to help develop an integrated aesthetic and acoustical solution for a new hotel dome within a challenging interior environment. Collaborating closely with the design team, we explored ways to address sound mitigation while maintaining the elegance and architectural character of the space.

The process included the development of color renderings, mock-ups, and scale models to refine the design approach prior to fabrication. EverGreene ultimately produced and installed a custom dome mural on stretched, padded acoustical fabric, transforming the ceiling into a decorative focal point that also improved the acoustical performance of the space. The final design complements the surrounding architecture while providing a seamless and visually harmonious solution to the hotel’s noise challenges.
