EverGreene conserved and replicated the trompe l’oeil decoration of Room S324- the senate majority leader’s office- in the US Capitol building. EverGreene was initially asked to perform an historic finishes investigation of the severely damaged ceiling mural.

EverGreene then performed plaster consolidation and restoration, conserved aspects of the ceiling wherever possible, and recreated and painted the mural design based on our finishes investigation findings and archival photography.
