St. Mary's Church, David City

St. Mary’s original artwork was well-thought out and quite beautiful. Unfortunately over the years, due to the trend of painting over liturgical art in favor of a more simplified spaces, the architectural elements of the space fell out of relationship with each other.
The community wanted to reinstate as many of these lost statements as possible to help restore some of the more formal, heavenly attributes of St. Mary’s. EverGreene worked toward the restoration of this church via plaster restoration, decorative painting and stenciling, and other liturgical artistry–including medallions with the Mysteries of the Rosary (Luminous and Joyful), murals of the Ascension of Christ and of his baptism, and a new altar.
