The Restoring The Farley Post Office Lobby

In this 40-minute presentation, EverGreene’s Matt Martin and Nick Hopkins will take you behind the scenes of the restoration of New York City’s main post office lobby and its transformation into a vibrant mixed-use hub.

Participants will learn how EverGreene’s preconstruction planning and decorative finishes strategies revived the Farley Building’s elegance while navigating working inside an active, occupied post office.

A cornerstone of New York City’s architectural heritage, the James A. Farley Building was designed by McKim, Mead & White and stood as a Beaux-Arts masterpiece since its grand opening in 1912. Once the city’s primary postal hub, the award-winning lobby restoration lead by EverGreene has revived elegant splendor and seamlessly merged it with the vibrant Moynihan Train Hall.
