250 Park Avenue Lobby Restoration - PURCHASE IMAGES TO PUBLISH PUBLICLY.—Private

New York, NY

Steps away from Grand Central Terminal, the new 250 Park Avenue Lobby fuses Neo-Classical elegance with contemporary style. The structure was built in 1924, housing the headquarters of General Foods. It is supremely located, surrounded by some of the most distinguished hotels, shops, restaurants, and cultural centers. Today, the building functions as an office setting, housing many different companies.

The building’s sleek new entrance, lobby, and interior elevator cabs were completed in 2018. EverGreene was contracted to complete the plaster portion of the project in the lobby. The lobby space includes a dynamic video ceiling, blending classical elements with modern technology. The video ceiling displays a rotating gallery of curated works by emerging and established local artists. This project embodies what we at EverGreene strive to accomplish: to preserve the past while innovating for the future.

Our project scope included:

  • Collecting precise drywall measurements
  • Fabricating plaster panels
  • Instilling plaster panels to newly installed plywood wall
  • Delivering, installing, pointing, and painting plaster castings
