Faena New York

Two decades after its debut in Buenos Aires and a decade after Faena Miami Beach, the luxury brand has unveiled its newest destination in Manhattan. Conceived by founder Alan Faena, Faena New York celebrates the city’s creative energy and cultural legacy. Overlooking the High Line, the Bjarke Ingels Group–designed building provides a striking backdrop for interiors by the Faena Design Team and Peter Mikic, blending bold pattern, symbolic detail, and theatrical elegance inspired by Old New York glamour.

The cathedral-like lobby is anchored by a dramatic floor-to-ceiling mural and gold leaf embellished staircase. Titled Ascension, A Sephirotic Journey, the site-specific installation by Argentine artist Diego Gravinese weaves together mythological, religious, and astrological imagery.

EverGreene’s was engaged to assist with the installation of the lobby mural panels, following extensive pre-construction planning. Our team provided guidance on production methods, packing, shipping, substrate preparation, access planning, and installation logistics. EverGreene installed the panels on site in close collaboration with the artist and Faena Group. Our decorative artists completed hand-painted detailing, integrated the seams, applied composition-leaf gilding to the golden rings, and finished the work with a unifying UV-protective varnish.

Another focal point is the hotel’s opulent bar, centered on an oval mixing space beneath a radiant ornamental plaster ceiling. The EverGreene Design Studio created plaster “sun rays,” finished in composition leaf, evoking Art Deco motifs. EverGreene fabricated, gilded, and installed the oversized ceiling elements, as well as consulted on layout, materials, and installation planning throughout the project.
