Carrollton School Fountain

We assessed and developed treatment recommendations to restore the stone and tile fountain and works at the Carrollton School. The fountain is mounted within the courtyard of the school’s historic main house and dates to the 1910’s. Materials were studied, conditions requiring treatment identified and a series of treatment recommendations to remediate the conditions and provide long term sustainable operations were prepared. The study encompassed not only the original courtyard fountain but extended to several garden features that had integrated water works.
