Marble Fountain Cleaning

Among the many garden elements at Kykuit, the Rockefeller Estate in Tarrytown New York, is a small marble fountain. Based on an original in the Boboli Gardens in Florence, the fountain has a central urn like element with 4 grotesques that spit water into the basin. The Carrara marble elements were soiled from age, weathering, metals stains, and biological growth. EverGreene conservators carefully cleaned the stone and restored the fountain water flow to the original design.
