EverGreener Nilma Muniz featured in the Ones To Watch 2022 spotlight of the New York Real Estate Journal’s May issue.
Nilma’s love for old buildings and architecture was sparked by traveling the world with her parents and led to her pursuing a degree in structural engineering. Combining this technical background with her passion for history and art inspired her to co-found ReStructure Heritage, a nonprofit organization in Spain, bringing together citizens, students, and travelers to preserve history through education, hands-on action, and cultural exchange.
“I wanted a career where I could combine art, history, and engineering. Historic preservation was the right path for me. My professional career has now led me to be part of a team that is dedicated to the architectural arts, working towards salvaging historic buildings and their unique architectural features.”
Nilma Muniz joined EverGreene in the Spring of 2021 and was promoted earlier this year to Project Engineer. She has been instrumental in keeping projects running smoothly in the New York City area, facilitating communication between office, studio, and the field for complex preservation projects. Her involvement includes St. George Theatre, 11 Penn Plaza, and the United Palace. We are extremely happy to have her be part of our team. Congratulations Nilma!
