Brooke Russell Senior Conservator
November 12–16, 2024
Montreal

The Association for Preservation Technology (APT), National Trust for Canada, and Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP) have joined forces, once again, to present this conference entitled Building Bridges. The conference will focus on connecting places, cultures, and practices in order to bridge the knowledge gap and gain new insights upon the ongoing challenges in historic preservation, climate resiliency, and social equity.

Join us for workshop WS02:

Historic Decorative Interior Architectural Finishes: Investigation and Restoration

We are proud to offer a two-day workshop for owners, architects, preservationists, and engineers about the methodology of investigation, identification, and subsequent restoration design of historic decorative interior architectural finishes. Through presentations with representative case studies the first part of the workshop will focus on the various types of historic decorative interior architectural finishes from different periods and provide an understanding of traditional finish application methods and materials. Decorative finishes addressed will include varying historic finish materials relevant to both the Montreal area, and to Canada in general.

Jeff Greene and Chad Reilly will be joining the EverGreene team at the conference. Don’t hesitate to reach out directly to coordinate a meeting in advance. We look forward to seeing you in Montreal!
