EverGreene is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Allen as Business Development Executive, effective April 2025. Kate brings nearly two decades of experience in architectural restoration. She led Allen Architectural Metals for nearly seventeen years, earning national acclaim for excellence in metal restoration and historic preservation. Her expertise in blending traditional techniques with innovative solutions aligns perfectly with EverGreene’s commitment to delivering world-class craftsmanship in every project.
“Kate brings a wealth of experience in historic preservation and a deep network of relationships across the architecture, construction, and real estate development industries,” said President and COO Toland Grinnell.
Kate is a frequent guest lecturer at various institutions around New York City, including the Pratt Institute of Technology, the New York City Landmarks Commission, and the Historic Districts Council. In 2024, she became an Adjunct Faculty Member for Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation, and Planning.
She also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of the American Institute for Conservation and is a Board member of APTI, serving as Co-Chair of the Development Committee. Kate holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
