Episcopalian Churches

“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” — C.S. Lewis

The American Episcopal Church is the steward of a great number of America’s architectural gems including interiors designed to invite congregants into meditations on central theological points, such as the reinstatement of the garden. Other programs feature figurative imagery, shields, and patterning.

Like other American houses of worship many Episcopalian liturgical artistry programs were removed or overpainted during insensitive twentieth century renovations. Bringing back original liturgical programs and enhancing art and architecture is often at the core of new design, restoration, and historic conservation initiatives. Our cross-disciplinary approach integrates conservation science, restoration craftsmanship, advanced technology, art history, architecture, engineering and construction.
