The Beekman Hotel
Originally constructed by James Farnsworth as Temple Court in 1883, 5 Beekman Street is now home to the Beekman Hotel. EverGreene performed restoration work on the building’s spectacular nine-story atrium. EverGreene craftsmen meticulously removed floor tiles, cleaned them, replaced those that were broken and reinstalled them. EverGreene artists also restored the plaster, wood and metal elements of the atrium, such as cast iron railings and plaster arches. The Beekman Hotel officially opened in August 2016.
